Choice is seeking to recruit a temporary Housing Officer to provide an efficient, responsive and excellent customer focused Housing Management Service to its customers. To be successful, you will need to have comprehensive knowledge and experience of delivering housing management services and have a proven track record of successfully managing Arrears, Allocations, Voids and Anti-Social Behaviour. (temporary 51 weeks' - subject to review)

Responsibilities

• To carry out scheme visits and audits in accordance with Choice’s procedures.
• To develop and maintain positive working relationships with local partners and agencies including Local Councils, PSNI, Social Services, communities and the general public.
• To respond, record and investigate all cases of Anti-social Behaviour (ASB) in accordance with Choice’s policies and procedures, endeavouring to resolve ASB using a range of solutions and attending court when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Relevant housing management or tenancy management experience (as set out in the job description) with a social landlord or local authority.
• OR Degree in any discipline and 2 years’ relevant housing management or tenancy management experience (as set out in the job description) with a social landlord or local authority.
• OR 3 years’ experience as a Housing Officer (or equivalent) within the last 5 years.
• Must have UK full driving licence and have vehicle available for daily business use.
