Supervisor
Job description
The successful candidate will have demonstrated previous supervisory experience (at least 1 years) in a similar busy Restaurant environment, be able to lead and motivate a team, are customer focused and target driven. They should also be able to implement initiatives to increase revenue and will also have a working knowledge of food and drink stocktakes.
Responsibilities
- Stock & Cash Handling.
- Deal with customer queries or complaints effectively, escalating where necessary.
- Act as a point of contact for staff during shifts, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
- Support the opening and closing of the venue in line with company procedures.
- Supervise daily bar and restaurant service to ensure high standards of customer care.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Excellent customer care skills.
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar supervisory role.
- A proven track record of providing excellent customer care.
- The ability to supervise a team of employees on a shift basis and delegate effectively.
- Excellent Communication, Presentation and Interpersonal skills.
- Effective Organisational Skills.
- A good working knowledge of I.T Systems.
Desirable Skills
- 2 years supervisor experience in a similar busy bar/restaurant.
- NVQ Level 3 in Hospitality Supervisor & Leadership (or similar).
- Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Certificate (must be current).
- First Aid Certificate (must be current).
- Ability to use own initiative.
