The post holder will provide quality teaching and learning opportunities within the specific areas outlined in the post in order to maximise the potential of every student and to undertake non-lecturing duties as appropriate.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have at least a Level 5 qualification in the area of Construction or Engineering OR Be willing to attain a Level 5 qualification in a related discipline within four years of appointment.
- Have at least a Level 3 qualification in the area of Fabrication and Welding.
- Have three years relevant industrial, professional or teaching experience in the area of Fabrication and Welding.
- Have experience in MMA, MIG and TIG welding applications.
- Have GCSE English or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Communication AND GCSE Maths or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy, or NICATS Access Maths Modules, or any qualifications deemed to be equivalent (Grade C or above).
Desirable Skills
- Have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or equivalent qualification recognised for teaching in the Northern Ireland FE Sector OR Be currently registered with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI)
Further Information
Location: Springtown Campus. Salary: £32,600 - £42,917 (plus £3,333 Threshold and £1,735 Deane payment if applicable) per annum. Duration: Permanent. Hours: 36 hours per week. Annual Leave: 49 days annual leave per annum. Pension: Northern Ireland Teachers Pension Scheme.
