Looking for a new opportunity? Silver Cloud Care NI is currently recruiting Care Assistants for our clients in Antrim & Ballymena area. We are looking for kind and caring individuals to provide care and support to vulnerable adults in their own home. If you are passionate about making a difference to the lives of others, we wouldlove to hear from you We offer, immediate interviews, competitive rate of pay, flexible working hours, minimum call time 1 hour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Support independence with dignity and respect.
• Assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support. Meal preparation
• Provide much needed company and and engaging conversation.
• Light household duties.
• Meal preparation.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A non judgemental approach to care.
• Good conversation.
• Patience (you may have to listen to the same story numerous times).
• Driver with access to own car.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided)
• Be a good listener.
• A caring and friendly nature.
