Job description

This role involves preparing and spraying structural steel components, as well as assisting with general yard duties

Responsibilities

• Prepare steelwork for painting, including cleaning and priming surfaces.
• Apply paint coatings using spray equipment, ensuring quality finish and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain and clean spray equipment and tools.
• Assist with loading and unloading steel components using forklifts.
• Carry out basic maintenance and housekeeping duties in the yard and workshop.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including use of PPE.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in industrial paint spraying preferred (structural steel experience an advantage).
