Job description

Assisting cook with basic preparations of food, beverages & cooking duties using appropriate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transferring & serving meals to pre-school children.
• Assisting with the promotion of meals to the children.
• General kitchen and dining room duties including washing up, clearing away equipment, cleaning kitchen area and equipment.
• Work as part of team alongside cook.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Valid Basic Food & hygiene certificate or willing to gain certificate.
• Good communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of working within a kitchen/catering environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP.
• Good organisational skills.
