Job description

Prime Recruitment Services is currently recruiting Support Workers to work with clients in the Ballymena area. As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. You may be supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs or other complex support requirements.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs
• Assisting with daily living activities and household tasks
• Supporting individuals with personal care, where required
• Encouraging independence, choice and social inclusion
• Supporting individuals to attend appointments and community activities
• Assisting with meal preparation and maintaining a safe living environment
• Administering or prompting medication, subject to training

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience within a support, care or healthcare setting is preferred
• A caring, patient and professional approach
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends where required
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced AccessNI check
• Right to work in the UK
