Electrician
Job description
Our Client, a global manufacturer of heavy machinery and equipment for construction, mining, energy and transportation industries are seeking Electricians to join their growing team, based in Larne.
Responsibilities
- This role involves installing, maintaining, testing and repairing electrical systems and equipment in line with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience as an Electrician (Formal Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent relevant qualification)
- Previous electrical experience (wiring, installation, terminations, connecting panels, upfitting cable trays/ladder racks, conduit upfitting, crimping)
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience working to defined process times.
- Ability to work from heights and in an enclosed work area.
- A keen awareness and commitment to the highest standard of health and safety and quality.
- A reasonable level of computer literacy would be an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to work reasonable amounts of overtime and various shift patterns.
Further Information
Working Hours: Times are as below: Monday 7.30am - 5.45pm, Tuesday to Thursday 7.30am - 5.15pm. If required - Nightshift Monday 9.00pm - 7.15am, Tuesday to Thursday 9.00pm - 6.45am.
