Early Years Supervisor - Strabane Sure Start - Based in Plumbridge Developmental Programme for 2 to 3 year olds Would you like to make a difference to children's lives, be part of a dynamic team and receive a wide range of training? If so, Strabane Sure Start are seeking applicants to join our multi-disciplinary team as a Leader for the developmental programme for 2 to 3 year olds in Plumbridge.

• Support families and help children develop improved language skills.
• Improve physical development.
• Enhance social and emotional development.
• Foster greater independence
• Increase levels of attention and concentration to help children reach their full potential.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Qualified in Early Years Childcare and Education, CCLD, or NVQ Level 5 (or above), with a strong understanding of child development and early years practice.
• Demonstrable experience working with children aged 0 to4 years in both paid and voluntary settings, supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.
• Experienced in implementing safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and welfare of children at all times.
• Proven ability to supervise, support and mentor staff, volunteers and students on an individual and group basis, promoting high standards of practice and teamwork.

Further Information

Wage: £12,201.49 per annum pro rata (£30,097 FTE)
