Job description

As the driver, you’ll be at the heart of our kerbside recycling service, operating our Class 2 vehicles, guiding your team through daily routes, and ensuring high-quality service across our communities. While this is a primarily driving-focused role, you may be required to occasionally provide loading support when operationally needed. Responsibilities

• Drive with Purpose: Operate our specialist Class 2 vehicles, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient transport of recyclable materials.
• Lead the Crew: Take charge of a Driver plus 2 team, supporting smooth and efficient daily collection routes.
• Maintain Standards: Carry out daily vehicle checks, keep your vehicle clean and presentable, and ensure materials meet our quality expectations.
• Operational Support: Carry out occasional loading duties in line with operational needs.
• Team Player: Supervise the Kerbside Loader, addressing any operational issues and escalating them to the Team Manager when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 years’ experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Class C Driving License (HGV).
• Valid Driver CPC.

Desirable Skills

• Digital Tachograph Card.
