General Concrete Operative in Northern Ireland. PDL Global Recruitment is currently recruiting General Concrete Operatives for full-time opportunities in Northern Ireland, UK. The role will involve working within a busy precast concrete factory environment and supporting the production of concrete products. Duties will include operating precast concrete machinery, operating overhead cranes and mobile plant where trained and authorised, assisting with general labouring duties, and maintaining good housekeeping standards across the factory. Candidates will be expected to keep work areas clean and tidy, follow all company policies and procedures, comply with Health and Safety requirements, and observe good working practices at all times. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in concrete production, manufacturing, construction, factory work, plant operation or a similar hands-on environment. Candidates should be reliable, safety conscious, physically fit and able to work well as part of a team. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with optional Saturday work from 7:00am to 12:00pm.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in factory, manufacturing, construction, yard work or similar hands-on role.
• Good awareness of Health & Safety procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job as some heavy lifting involved.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in precast concrete production.
• Experience operating overhead cranes or mobile plant.
• Forklift, plant machinery or crane training/certification.
• Experience working in a busy production or factory environment.
