MPA Recruitment is recruiting Care Assistants to join the team at Daleview Nursing Home on behalf of Apex Housing. This is a rewarding opportunity for caring and reliable individuals who enjoy supporting older people and vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care while promoting dignity and independence
• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, mobility and meals
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing
• Support activities, appointments and outings
• Ensure residents are comfortable and well cared for
• Communicate any concerns or incidents to nursing staff
• Follow Apex Housing policies and RQIA standards
• Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• QCF/NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent or willing to complete
• Or at least 6 months' experience working with vulnerable adults in a formal care/support setting
• NISCC registered, or willing to register within 6 months
• Willing to complete an Enhanced Access NI check
