HR Business Partner
Job description
The HR Business Partner will provide a confidential, professional and effective HR business partnering service, supporting managers and employees across a wide range of people management and employee relations matters. As a key member of the HR Department, the postholder will help deliver a modern, innovative, high-quality and responsive HR service that supports organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on all complex HR issues and coach, support, train and challenge managers in the application of HR policies and practices, taking into account current legislation.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of the People, Development and Compliance strategy in support of Inspire’s business strategy.
- Report against key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the HR function and its initiatives upon Inspire, implementing suitable corrective actions as and when required.
- Develop and implement employee engagement activities to support overall business direction in collaboration with key stakeholders to address relevant business concerns.
- Design and deliver development workshops in areas of HR best practice to enhance knowledge and skills of the management team and to ensure they are suitably informed of legislative changes in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable as the role will involve working at various locations throughout Ireland.
- A full current driving licence and access to a car. Business insurance will be a requirement for this post. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
- Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Human Resources or business related discipline, or a recognised professional Human Resources qualification at a minimum of level 5 and 2 years’ generalist HR experience Or 3 years’ generalist HR experience
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
- Demonstrable experience of providing advice and guidance on HR policies and processes.
- Demonstrable experience in the management of complex disciplinary and grievance cases which is compliant with current NI/ROI Employment Legislation and Codes of Practices.
- Proven experience of developing strong consultative relationships with key stakeholders on HR strategies.
