Job description

We are looking for a person who we will train as a Debt Advisor, who will then go on to help people who owe money but are struggling to pay it back.

Responsibilities

• You will initially undertake a range of training provided by Advice NI, whilst shadowing another debt advisor based at our premises to gain experience and insight in working with the people we see, and the issues that they present to us.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Educated to GCSE level and have obtained English & Mathematics Grade A-C or equivalent.

Desirable Skills

• Completed generalist Adviser training programme through Advice NI, Law Centre or CAB.
• Third level qualification in relevant discipline e.g. Law, Finance.
