Job description

To supervise pupils in designated areas of the school during the lunchtime period and to ensure their safety, welfare and general conduct through appropriate application of the school's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• To establish safe and appropriate behaviour by effective intervention and where appropriate, referral to the Line Manager/Bursar.
• To maintain good order in dining areas.
• To report any unauthorised visitors on school premises to reception.
• To demonstrate flexibility in relation to covering different areas of the school.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have good verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working with young people desirable.
