Job description

The Maintenance Assistant will be required to carry out regular health and safety inspections of schemes/buildings and complete associated documentation, carry out minor maintenance work and deliveries to schemes.

Responsibilities

• 2 years’ experience of working in a response maintenance environment including: a good working knowledge of joinery and general building repairs, electrical, plumbing etc., to residential and occupied properties.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Basic IT skills including use of a smart phone, email and completion of electronic forms.

Desirable Skills

• Recognised qualifications that can confirm knowledge of issues such as Construction standards, Health & Safety Training, and other relevant training
