Our client, Oakfield Cabinets, is seeking a Temporary to Permanent Production Operative to join their growing team based in Antrim. Oakfield Cabinets Ltd has been a well-established manufacturer of bespoke kitchens and bedrooms for the trade since 2005 This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company and become part of a busy, successful, and growing operation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with loading vans with kitchen and bedroom units, marking off delivery dockets accordingly & noting any discrepancies as required.
• Machining and assembly of components for kitchen and bedroom units.
• Operating various pieces of equipment following appropriate training.
• Carrying out other ad-hoc duties requested by the supervisor that fall within the scope of the role.
• Complying with Company policies and procedures regarding PPE and Health & Safety.
• Complying with Company procedures regarding attendance, sickness reporting, and other relevant employment processes.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Eligibility to work in Northern Ireland.
• Ability to commute reliably to and from the factory for a 6:00am start.
• Ability to undertake heavy lifting, which is an integral part of the role.
• Forklift licence, although this is not essential.
