Job description

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high quality, person centred support to individuals with learning disabilities in a caring day care environment. You will assist service users to achieve their goals, promote independence and ensure their wellbeing at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide person centred support in a day care environment.
• Assist with the development and review of care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and produce clear and professional reports.
• Support individuals in achieving personal outcomes and daily goals.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 years experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities in a caring setting.
• Registered with Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Location: Strule Erne Activity Centre, Dun Uladh Centre. This role requires someone who is adaptable, flexible and able to respond to the changing needs of the service. We are looking for someone who is organised and committed to delivering excellent standards of care. The successful candidate must be willing to adapt to changing rota requirements and service needs.
