Job description

Roles available in a fast paced environment, in our South Belfast store with variable shift lengths available.

Responsibilities

• Customer service
• Food preparation
• Food hygiene and cleaning
• Basic operation of all major kitchen equipment
• Answerable to, and performing all duties as required by the owner, shop manager, deli manager and supervisors
• Applications of basic hygiene principles
• Performing duties and tasks set out under basic hygiene and HACCP requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Food preparation experience
• Food hygiene and cleaning experience
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Customer care & customer service skills
• Applications of basic hygiene principles
• Understanding of HACCP to perform duties and tasks as set out under basic hygiene and HACCP requirements

Desirable Skills

• Understanding of basic aims and goals expected of each person
• Basic knowledge and interest in food

All training will be provided. Progression available within the role, including supervisor training if opportunities arise.
