Job description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative, project, service and marketing support to the Foyle Women’s Aid, Family Justice Centre and Dress for Success Northern Ireland services. You will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of services by supporting planning, reporting, client coordination, volunteer activity, events and financial processes. The role also involves maintaining accurate records and helping deliver a professional, welcoming and organised service for clients, partners and stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of services and projects. Maintain accurate and confidential records for clients, volunteers, referrals, donations, events and project activity.
- Support client appointments, styling sessions, service delivery and preparation of spaces. Assist with reporting, performance monitoring, presentations and information for internal and funding purposes.
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, events, travel and resources. Organise workshops, conferences, outreach activities and service materials.
- Liaise with clients, volunteers, referral partners and external stakeholders. Act as a professional first point of contact and undertake general office duties.
- Carry out other duties as required to support Dress for Success programmes and projects.
- Receive, record and organise donations. Maintain stock systems, wardrobe organisation and service spaces. Support events, clothing drives and corporate engagement activities.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience in an administrative or office-based role and experience of maintaining accurate records and databases.
- Competent in using social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to prepare reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
- Professional, friendly and approachable manner.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to manage data accurately and confidentially.
- Good understanding of financial procedures and controls.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding.
- Empathy and ability to work in a client-centred environment.
Further Information
Please note, from the 1st April 2026, the following new minimum wage rates will apply: 16-17 £8.00, 18-20 £10.85, 21 plus £12.71 per hour.’
