Production Operative positions are available for immediate start in our Warrenpoint factory which will offer opportunities to gain experience in assembly, woodworking, upholstery, assembly, cutting edge machinery, stock control, loading and unloading of vehicles and other related tasks. Further training in forklift driving and First Aid at Work can also be achieved.
Responsibilities
- Manufacturing high quality mattresses, divan bases & designer headboards.
- Carry out manual handling of our products and have good practical skills.
- Contributing to stock management, including undertaking regular stock takes, moving and arranging stock.
- Physically assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Working as part of a team to ensure that customer orders are sent out with the correct items in a timely and efficient manner to help to maintain our high customer service levels.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Be capable and prepared to carry out manual handling of our products and have good practical skills.
- Able to work quickly, methodically and be able to follow instructions.
- Deliver high-quality products in line with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Have a strong level of self-motivation in order to achieve production targets and be prepared to work in a fast-paced factory environment.
- Have a flexible attitude to carrying out various tasks during the working day.
Desirable Skills
- Clean Driving Licence.
- Previous manual handling experience.
- Previous use of air tools.
