Job description

Responsible for the successful delivery of the Heroes Plus programme which supports young people with additional needs. Ability to recruit new participants into the project is essential.

Responsibilities

• Management and delivery of a youth programme
• The youth worker must be able to plan, organise and deliver a variety of support sessions, small group and one to one mentoring sessions for young people and must operate at all times with a youth work focus.
• The youth worker must co-produce a programme of activities and promote a range of local activities and opportunities for our young people.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Literacy skills and computer literacy skills.
• Full clean driving licence
• Youthwork qualification or equivalent relevant to the position and sector

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of youth delivery in Northern Ireland
