Job description

To coordinate with the Transport Manager to ensure the seamless delivery of community transport services.

Responsibilities

• To deliver Meals on Wheels to service users.
• To assist with the delivery and collection of items, including furniture for the community shop.
• To undertake the upkeep and cleaning of vehicles and report faults to the appropriate manager.
• To work as a committed member of the team towards the attainment of Resource Centre Derry’s aims and objectives.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A good standard of Maths and English.
• Minimum of 5 years’ driving experience Full, clean driving licence,

Desirable Skills

• Full, current driving licence with D1 category, permitting the driving of passenger and wheelchair-accessible vehicles with up to 16 seats in a paid capacity.
