Deli Assistant


Job description

We are seeking a Deli Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of products from our Hot Food and Cold Serve. You will ensure food safety standards are met and that our customers receive high-quality food items in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve deli items to the store specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Work well in the Deli team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen environment.
  • Customer Service

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Customer Service skills.
  • Understanding of food preparation techniques.
  • Experience in a kitchen setting is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
  • Strong communication skills to assist customers effectively and work collaboratively with team members.

Further Information

Location - 32-36 Main Street, Augher. All training will be provided. Progression available within the role, including supervisor training if opportunities arise. Benefits: Company pension. 6-8 Hour shifts between 06.00-15.00, days to be confirmed.
