Job description

Tenancy Bridge Builder. Provide Tenancy Support Service to a range of clients within the North Down and Ards area, liaising with referral agents within the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and other key stakeholders, and ensuring delivery of person-centred, high-quality support. Actively representing the values of passion, respect, empathy and openness and transparency, setting, and reinforcing the standard for positive behaviours at all levels. The MindWise Competency Framework outlines the behaviours that are essential to effective performance. The Competencies relevant to this role are set at Level 1 and are explained within the Framework.

Responsibilities

• Support the provision of intensive support to individuals and families to secure accommodation.
• Link-up with voluntary and statutory support services that will support and help meet the needs of those referred e.g. registration with GP, mental health services, Money Advice Service.
• Establish and maintain links and build positive relationships with key stakeholders and other services/projects to ensure awareness and knowledge, promote partnership working.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 2 Essential Skills in Maths and English or GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 to 6 months recent experience, providing housing support to people within the community in a paid or voluntary capacity Or demonstrate a minimum of 6 months experience of providing support in a paid or voluntary,
• Or demonstrate a minimum of 6 months experience of providing support in a paid or voluntary capacity in another community or care setting.
• To be willing to work flexibly which may include days & evenings and participate in the on call rota.
• NISCC Registration or eligible to be registered from commencement of role.

Further Information

Salary: £25,178.88 per annum (Pro rata for part time). Work-time: Days & evenings and participate in the on call rota, to be confirmed.
