Theatre Nurse based in Derry/Londonderry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care within the operating theatre.
• Assist consultants and surgical teams during procedures.
• Prepare theatre equipment and ensure adherence to infection control standards.
• Monitor and support Patients throughout the perioperative journey.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Registered Nurse (NMC Registration).
• 12-18 months previous theatre nursing experience in either scrub, recovery, or anesthetics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills

• Experience across multiple theatre disciplines.
• Knowledge of a wide range of surgical specialties.
• Relevant post-registration qualifications.
