Job description

We are looking for a confident, friendly and sales-focused Fashion Sales Advisor to join the Nora and Katie boutique team. The successful applicant will provide excellent customer service, offer honest styling advice and help customers find outfits they feel great in. The role also includes achieving sales, operating the till, processing deliveries, merchandising new stock, maintaining shop-floor standards and supporting the day-to-day running of the boutique. Previous fashion retail or sales experience is preferred. Applicants must be reliable, confident approaching customers and available to work weekdays and every second Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and actively drive sales.
• Approach customers and offer styling and product advice.
• Meet individual and team sales expectations.
• Operate the till and process payments, returns and exchanges.
• Replenish, merchandise and organise stock.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and attractive boutique.
• Work every second Saturday as part of the rota.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven sales experience in a retail environment.
• Confident approaching customers and actively driving sales.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in a clothing boutique.
• Experience providing styling and outfit advice.
• Visual merchandising experience.

Further Information

This is a permanent position of 30 hours per week. Week days to be discussed along with every second Saturday. Additional hours may be available for the right person. The successful applicant must have a genuine love of clothing and fashion, confidence approaching and advising customers, and the ability to build sales through excellent customer service.
