Job description

PeacePlayers are looking for candidates that have an interest in using sport as a tool to connect with young people in a cross-community context. As a coach within PeacePlayers you will deliver our curriculum to children and young people and support the Lead Coach.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate good relations activities and conversations with small groups of children and young people.
• Delivery of PP-NI curriculum.
• Coach sports skills/drills to PP-NI participants, primarily Basketball with other sports included.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience/evidence of ability in at least one of the following 3 areas: Working with young people, good relations/group facilitations and sports coaching.
• Previous experience/evidence of working as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

• Driving licence & access to a vehicle.

Further Information

Casual Contract, with work offered on employees availability. Enhanced AccessNI must be completed.
