Due to expansion of service, we are seeking Home Care Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes , ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. NWCare are now recruiting home care assistants in Coleraine and surrounding areas for both full-time and part-time rotas. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities

• Care in the community.
• Personal care.
• Light meal preparation.
• Companionship.
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe and clean.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care.
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.

Desirable Skills

• QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Previous paid caring experience.

Further Information

Please note: Criteria for this role is that you apply for an Enhanced AccessNI certificate. We work off a 4/3 rota pattern, as follows: Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mornings - 07.00 - 14:30; Afternoons - 15:00 - 18:30 and Evenings - 19:00 - 23:00.
