Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fully Qualified Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential settings.
  • Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, carpentry skills to complete tasks effectively Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely.
  • Assisting with assembly of plumbing components during new installations or renovations.
  • Diagnosing plumbing issues using specialised tools and techniques Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Conducting routine inspections to ensure plumbing systems meet safety standards & regulations.
  • Ensuring all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.

  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for plumbing work.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations.
  • Familiarity with basic construction principles such as carpentry and assembly processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
