Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit.
• Take accurate orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen or bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Provide attentive guest service, addressing any special requests or dietary needs.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
• Clear tables and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in food preparation tasks when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed.
• Handle cash or electronic payments accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques.
• Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities during busy periods.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests.

Desirable Skills
