Job description

We are recruiting for a Youth Education Officer in Derry/Londonderry.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the preparation and delivery of accredited and non-accredited Citizenship, Leadership and Good Relations workshops,for school groups and REACH Across Members
• To assist with organising and managing Education Visits to cultural, historical and political locations
• To assist with general youth work programmes and events of REACH Across, including Club Nights
• To assist with administration duties relating to our Schools and Youth Programmes
• To assist with the recruitment and training of new Volunteer Leaders and with the arecruitment of new Members

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 3rd Level qualification in community, youth or social education
• Or
• Minimum of 3 years experience, in a school, community or youth work setting
• ICT skills in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint Excel
• GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent qualification)

Further Information
