The Foxes Den is looking for a confident and organised Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our front-of-house operation. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to lead the team, deliver excellent customer service and ensure smooth, efficient service across busy trading periods.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations.
• Lead and motivate the front-of-house team during service.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and presentation.
• Assist with staff training, rotas and shift organisation.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Monitor service standards and team performance.
• Support opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and cash handling where required.
• Ensure health & safety, licensing and hygiene procedures are followed.
• Help maintain a positive, professional and efficient working environment

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality.
• Confident leading a team in a busy environment
• Communication and customer service skills.

Desirable Skills

• Able to work under pressure.
• Has strong attention to detail.
• Can deal confidently with customers and staff.
• Flexible and willing to support the wider operation.
