Cloud Services Manager
Job description
The post holder will be responsible through the Co-Director, Digital Services, for the management of Identity and Cloud Services including Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure Services. The post holder will proactively manage the day-to-day operations of systems supporting a highly complex organisation with a user base of over 20,000 users and 15,000 devices. The post holder will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of defined ICT systems. The post holder will give guidance, and manage the delivery of, new systems and integration into existing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Deal with information e.g. relating to the development of technical platforms and resolving complex ICT issues. This involves communicating with internal / external stakeholders.
- Work in conjunction with other operational managers and specialists to support key projects and service deliverables.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of new technologies, understanding the potential benefits they may have in systems development and the way those systems impinge upon patient care.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have a university degree or equivalent in an IT/Digital Services or Business-related discipline and have worked for at least two years in a senior 1 IT/Digital Services role OR
- Have worked for at least 5 years in a senior role in an IT/Digital Services related field in a complex 2 organisation.
