Our client, Terumo is seeking a Hygiene Technician to join their team based in Larne Carry out daily cleaning as directed to the highest standards, under the direction of the Production Manager or his/her deputy

Responsibilities

• Clean specific areas of the site to the required high standards
• Perform duties following written instructions in the form of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and verbal instructions from the Production Manager or Senior Cleaning Operator or other relevant manager
• Adhere to the principles of GMP when carrying out all tasks
• Complying with Health & Safety and Hygiene Procedures in all work areas
• Report all accidents or any unsafe conditions in the workplace to Management and also maintain in a good state of repair all protective clothing and equipment
• Comply with and enforce all relevant Health and Safety regulations
• Assist in the training of staff where appropriate
• Comply with and enforce all company policies
• Any other duties as may be reasonably required by your Manager from time to time

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous cleaning experience preferably gained within an industrial environment (e.g. using buffers etc)
• Able to work overtime and shifts
• Please note this is a physically demanding role

Further Information
