Join the team at the Northern Ireland Housing Executive in Ballymena as a Clerical Officer and provide essential administrative support to help ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services. This is a great opportunity to build experience within a busy public sector environment while supporting day-to-day operations and delivering a high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely administrative and co-ordination support to Income Collection unit.
  • Filing and taking minutes.
  • Input data, maintain records, update excel documents, and pull reports.
  • Logging and distributing post.
  • Dealing with customer queries across multiple communication channels.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • 2 GCSEs at C or above to include Maths and English (or equivalent Level 2)
  • 1 year’s relevant experience in a similar role with clerical / administrative duties.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of MS office.
  • It is desirable to possess a full current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
  • As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake a Basic AccessNI Disclosure (Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position)

Further Information

About the Role: £13.05 per hour Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm 37 hours per week, Holidays: 35 days pro rata Duration: Temporary, ongoing
