Project Support Worker - PEACEPLUS
Job description
To support the successful implementation of the PEACEPLUS project through the planning, coordination and delivery of project activities, stakeholder engagement, participant recruitment, monitoring and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate project activities, events, workshops and engagement programmes.
- Develop workshop content, training materials and participant resources.
- Deliver workshops, information sessions and community engagement activities.
- Recruit and engage participants, community groups and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with project partners and key stakeholders.
- Collect, maintain and analyse project monitoring information and supporting evidence.
- Compile participant feedback, case studies and outcome information.
- Prepare progress reports, claims documentation and other information required by the funding body.
- Support project communications, publicity and outreach activities.
- Contribute to project evaluation and achievement of agreed targets and outcomes.
- Attend meetings, events and training relevant to the project.
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the post.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A third-level qualification (Level 5 or above) in Community Development, Business, Education, Social Sciences, Project Management or a related field, or a minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a similar area.
- A minimum of five GCSEs, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Knowledge of business principles, enterprise support or business development, gained through a relevant qualification, training or practical experience.
- Experience organising and delivering events, workshops or community engagement activities.
- Experience preparing reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Experience working with community organisations, stakeholders or participants.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.
- Understanding of monitoring, evaluation and reporting requirements.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working on EU-funded, PEACE, INTERREG or other publicly funded programmes.
- Experience developing training or workshop materials.
- Knowledge of cross-community or peacebuilding initiatives.
- Full driving licence and access to transport.
Further Information
Duration: Fixed term: 1st November 2026 to 31st March 2028. Work Time: 34 hours per week (25 hours per week allocated to the Peace Plus Project & 9 hours per week allocated to LEDCOM activities). A Project supported by PEACEPLUS, a Programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB)
