Industrial Temps are recruiting on behalf of W&G Baird for Finishing Operators / Printing Assistants to join their Folding Department based in Antrim. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established printing business with a modern production environment and some of the most advanced printing machinery in the UK and Ireland As a Finishing Operator, you will operate high-speed folding machines, guillotines and other print-finishing equipment, ensuring all printed materials are completed accurately and to the required quality and production standards

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed folding machines, guillotines and other finishing equipment
• Ensure finished print meets quality, accuracy and specification standards
• Inspect finished work for defects and resolve issues where possible
• Meet production deadlines in a fast-paced print environment
• Report machine faults and carry out basic preventative maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area
• Follow all company health & safety procedures

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience within the printing industry.
• Preferable previous experience operating folding machines and guillotines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working night shifts in a production environment
• Willing to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes
