Job description
The Community Cohesion and Involvement Officer will assist in the delivery of NIHE Community Cohesion and Community Involvement Strategies, associated Action Plans, and develop the necessary components to deliver community cohesion within Housing Executive neighbourhoods. They will pro-actively promote Community Cohesion and Community Involvement across Northern Ireland.
Responsibilities
- To assist in the development and delivery of the Community Cohesion and Community Involvement Strategies and associated Action Plans etc.
- To provide administrative support to the central and wider Community Cohesion Team including meeting support, information sharing, maintaining accurate records of all documents within existing systems.
- To collate and report performance monitoring statistics and other information as required by Community Cohesion Management Team.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Hold a degree (Level 6) or equivalent AND have a minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience in a customer support environment OR
- Hold a BTEC Higher Cert/Diploma (Level 5) qualification in Housing AND have a minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience in a customer support environment OR
- Hold a BTEC Higher Cert/Diploma (Level 5) or equivalent AND have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a customer support environment OR
- Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development or experiential learning AND have at least 3 years’ relevant experience in a customer support environment.
