We are looking to recruit a Full Time Healthcare Assistant to join our Aughnacloy Team. The successful applicant will be employed 3 days per week. The shifts are 12 hours long between 8am and 8pm Monday - Sunday. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• You will work as a trained multi-skilled member providing various aspects of care to elderly residents.
• Personal Care Assist with all daily living activities, for example, washing, dressing, toileting/incontinence and assisting with mealtimes.
• Follow guidelines for safe movement of clients, using appropriate equipment where necessary.
• Communicate regularly with the line manager.
• Obtain NISCC registration before employment and maintain during employment and adhere to the NISCC Codes of Practice.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines. Ensure the confidentiality of residents, colleagues and the company at all times.
• Work as part of a team.
• All relevant kitchen related duties including basis meal preparation.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as laid down by the company.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 1 years’ experience in personal care.

Desirable Skills

• Be registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC).
• Studying for or attained a care related qualification.
• Kitchen or laundry experience in work or a voluntary setting.
• Personal care experience within a Nursing Home or similar environment.

Further Information

We are offering a £300 joining bonus, paid after 3 months in the role.
