Job description

As a Community Carer, you will support our clients in their own homes. You will work within one location/area, on either single or double runs. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in clients’ homes (washing, dressing/undressing)
• Prepare snacks and refreshments
• Prompt or administer medication
• Use approved equipment (hoists, slide sheets) for safe assistance
• Offer practical support (light cleaning, shopping, laundry)
• Promote clients’ independence, choice, rights, and dignity

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• No experience is needed as we provide you with all training
• Have a full drivers licence with access to a car & car insurance in connection with business
• Access to a mobile phone

Further Information

Work Time: Day shift 7am-6pm and evening shift 6pm-11pm between Monday - Sunday. We have two shifts, day and evening, we will give you a contract with guaranteed hours, and you select how many shifts you can fulfil each week. £500 Joining Bonus paid after 3 months in role.
