Job description

The Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the service, ensuring that staff provide appropriate support to residents in line with their individual social, emotional, and physical needs.

Responsibilities

• The postholder is accountable for the ongoing operation of the service and must ensure that it is delivered efficiently and effectively, in accordance with Apex policies, procedures, standards, and Supporting People regulations and requirements

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Educated to Degree Level and registered or willing to register with NISCC and 4 years work experience working with individuals with addiction issues with 2 years previous management experience including staff management, financial management
• OR Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care and registered or willing to register with NISCC and a minimum of 5 years experience working with individuals with addiction issues with 2 years previous management experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with individuals with addiction problems
• 2 years supervision experience including administration and staff supervision
• Experience of Managing staff
• Knowledge of Supporting People requirements
• It is a genuine occupational qualification for the above position that the holder be female within the meaning of Article 10 of the sex discrimination Northern Ireland Order 1976
