We are looking for a Transport Front Line Manager. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of drivers and transport coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing a team of drivers and transport coordinators to ensure the safe delivery and/or collection of all goods to/from our customers and in accordance with all legal and company requirements

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 5 years’ experience managing teams within a transport, logistics, distribution, or operational environment
• Lead by example with the "Safety First" message
• Strong knowledge of transport compliance and health & safety requirements
• Ability to build good working relationships with employees, customers and suppliers
• Good leadership skills
• A strong customer focus, always willing to go the extra mile to deliver a good service
• An analytical thinker, capable of making effective decisions in a fast paced environment

Desirable Skills

• CPC qualification or knowledge of Operator Licence requirements
• Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution environment

Further Information
