Job description
The Consumer Council is recruiting for two Energy Transition Engagement Officers to join our new Energy Transition Team. Delivering deliberative research with diverse audiences while presenting evidence, insights, and trend analysis to inform strategic decision making and policy influence.
Responsibilities
- Delivering deliberative research with diverse audiences while presenting evidence, insights, and trend analysis to inform strategic decision making and policy influence.
- Contribute to the delivery of the Consumer Council’s Corporate Plan by supporting research and engagement activities relating to energy transition.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Energy Transition Team to support the delivery of projects and engagement activities.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Confident and effective communicators, skilled in delivering deliberative research with diverse audiences while presenting evidence, insights, and trend analysis to inform strategic decision making and policy influence.
- You will need proven experience of:
- Analysing evidence, case studies and trends to identify emerging issues and opportunities to provide recommendations and insight that will inform policy, strategy or service delivery.
- Supporting the delivery of research, consultation or engagement including the collection and analysis of qualitative information.
- Developing and maintaining effective and trusted stakeholder relationships to deliver positive outcomes for consumers, service users and/or businesses/communities.
- Preparing reports, briefing papers or presentations and communicating information clearly to a range of audiences.
Further Information
