Construction Foreperson


Job description

This is an opportunity to lead significant residential projects from start to finish. We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreperson to oversee the day to day operations on this residential building site. The successful candidate will take charge of a development of new home on construction site in Strabane. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing house builder with a strong pipeline of work and play a key role in delivering quality homes on schedule and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, trades, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with building regulations.
  • Manage site schedules, ensuring targets and deadlines are met.
  • Monitor quality of workmanship and materials used.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate site records and progress reports.
  • Enforce health and safety policies across the site.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as a Foreman / Site Supervisor in residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of building processes, standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
  • Strong focus on health and safety compliance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Full UK driving licence and able to work in Cookstown.

Desirable Skills

  • Construction experience on housing projects.
