Job description

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll help maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen while supporting chefs with basic preparation and general kitchen duties.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and organised throughout service.
• Wash and clean dishes, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Manage waste and recycling appropriately.
• Assist with deliveries, stock and putting supplies away.
• Support chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Keep kitchen areas, floors and equipment clean to a high standard.
• Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Support the kitchen team during busy services.
• Carry out general cleaning and kitchen duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Desirable Skills

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
