Job description

You will work as part of a production team within a modern manufacturing environment, supporting day to day production activities and helping to ensure products are manufactured to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow all production procedures and processes accurately.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and products.
• Identify production errors or faults and take the appropriate steps to rectify them.
• Report machinery or product faults to the Production Supervisor.
• Carry out all tasks for which training has been completed and signed off.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Communicate clearly with your Team Leader regarding all aspects of the role.
• Work to continuously improve your performance and skills.
• Maintain a professional manner at all times.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to work with hand tools and machinery, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a factory setting.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Physically capable of handling materials and performing manual tasks.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
• Candidates are preferred to have their own vehicle.

Further Information

Location: Easily accessible, next to a bus/train station. This role is based in Antrim, Northern Ireland. Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, to be confirmed.
