Riada Resourcing is representing a manufacturing and engineering client, designing and producing specialist equipment used across the concrete, construction and environmental industries for customers throughout the UK and international markets. Due to continued growth and the launch of new products, an established engineering manufacturer is seeking to recruit additional Fabricator Welders to join its Fabrication Team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled fabricators and welders who take pride in producing high-quality work and are looking to join a busy, progressive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate steel structures, including sections and plate work, from engineering drawings.
• Carry out MIG welding to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with quality requirements.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Previous experience in heavy engineering fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing a high-quality product.
• Ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
• Experience using power tools.

Desirable Skills

• Overhead crane experience desirable.

Further Information

Hours of Work: Flexible 39-hour working week, to be agreed within the following operating hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 5:30pm Friday: 7:30am to 3:30pm Pay & Benefits: £15.00 plus per hour, depending on experience and ability. £45 weekly attendance bonus payable following successful completion of the 12-week probationary period.
