We are seeking Project Workers to join our Mental Health & Addiction Services team. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment where service users can develop the skills, resilience, and confidence to lead fulfilling lives. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a trusting and professional relationship with the people who use our services and act in a supportive and empathetic manner towards them.
• Contribute to and help maintain a harmonious and therapeutic environment.
• Support the people who use our services to manage their mental health, physical health and wellbeing through the development, implementation and monitoring of individual wellbeing and safety management plans.
• Actively encourage the involvement of the people who use our services in all aspects of decision-making, be sensitive and seek solutions to difficulties encountered by the people who use our services.
• Implement and adhere to Inspire’s procedures, involving the people who use our services at all times.
• Maintain clear, accurate, timely and complete electronic and written records/documentation and appropriately use organisational information systems as required.
• Be an integral member of, and work in close co-operation with, all members of Inspire and representatives of relevant statutory, voluntary and regulatory bodies to achieve the standards set by them.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement new skills and knowledge to competently fulfil the requirements of the post.
• Have knowledge and understanding of, and contribute to, Inspire and Inspire Mental Health’s strategic objectives and how your role and personal objectives contribute to their achievement.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• To be flexible and work such hours as required by the post in order to meet the needs of the service.
• A full current driving licence and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
• Be educated to QCF/NVQ Level 2, or equivalent, in a related subject e.g. Care and 6 months paid experience supporting people within a health and social care setting.
• Or A minimum of 12 months paid experience supporting people within a health and social care setting.
• Have proven experience of motivating, supporting and mentoring Service Users.
• Experience of maintaining service user and agency records.
• Working knowledge of using IT systems.
