We are recruiting for a reliable and motivated Van Driver / Sales Assistant to join a growing fresh produce business. This is a varied and hands-on role combining deliveries, customer service, sales and packing duties. Mornings will primarily be spent delivering fresh produce and vegetable boxes to customers, ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally. Afternoons will focus on sales activities, helping to promote products, build relationships with customers and identify new business opportunities. The successful candidate will also assist with packing customer orders and preparing vegetable boxes for delivery. A varied role with no two days the same. Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh produce and vegetable boxes to customers in a professional and timely manner.
• Load and unload the delivery vehicle safely.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the van.
• Assist with packing and preparing customer orders.
• Support the sales function by promoting products and services to existing and potential customers.
• Build positive customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and grow the customer base.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
• Willingness to support both operational and sales activities.
• Flexible approach to working days and hours.

Work Time: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (with flexibility required to work alternative days)
